I had a wonderful trip from El Zotz to Tikal. It was a journey that I will remember for the rest of my life. I was able to experience the real rain forest with all its beautiful flora and fauna. Watching the bats leaving the caves in a dark evening was an awesome spectacle. This image is imprinted forever in my mind. I learned a great deal about herbal medicines from my great guide Cristobal 2. He also taught me how to find drinkable water from plants to survive in the jungle and how to construct improvised bridges to cross deep streams. My experience was a real-life episode of "Man vs. Wild." The Mayan ruins were very inspiring. It was a bonus to the whole nature experience. Thank you so much for all the arrangement you guys had made for me from the moment I arrived in Guatemala to the moment I left. You made all the transitions smooth and safe. Thank you again and hope to see you again in the future.

Hola Dieter - We wanted to thank you again for the great day at La Blanca and Yaxha. I feel like it gave us some new ways of looking at Mayan sites and was a highlight of our trip. We're off to Belize tomorrow morning - Hasta luego.

We have just returned from our trip and we just wanted to say thank you for arranging the El Zotz tour, despite our inital worries, it was the highlight of our holiday and we found it the most enjoyable tour, and although tired at the end the ruins were worth every effort. I just wanted to say that the tour was made that more enjoyable by the wonderful guides in Raol and Christo who were excellent and great hosts who I am sure you look after, as their effort to ensure our enjoyment was beyond expectation.

We had an incredible time visiting Tikal. What a powerful experience... it's still a little hard to put into words! We are very grateful for your help organizing our trip. We only wish we could have stayed longer. But we do hope to come back again in the future and spend a little more time, perhaps with a week or two of language school.
